Retired, so no longer seek extensive consulting/coaching engagements. Still an avid enthusiast about seeing more organizations do a better job of improving. As a result willing to provide a couple of services if there is a good fit:

Conference Keynote Presentations

Conference Keynote presentations provide a way to touch quite a few people, hopefully inspiring a few people/companies to elevate their leadership skills and improvement practices. Topics include:
a. Why take a walk in the Gemba? – What is the Gemba and why would a busy person want to take time to go there?
b. Learn to See the Invisible - Leaders, just like professional athletes, can lay out a practice plan to get better, at getting better, in their leadership role. The idea is to accelerate a person's learning curve to become a more effective leader by letting go of assumptions and beliefs the leader may hold that inhibit their ability to see the actual reality. Rather than taking 10 years to learn something through personal experience, can we accelerate the process and make learning less painful in a much shorter period of time...say 3 years or 6 months? “Learn to See the Invisible” shares a model leaders can practice to improve the way they lead. They can train both their eyes and ears to see/hear things they miss today, putting them more in touch with the actual reality of what is happening.
c. “Why do improvement programs typically fall short of expectations?” Improvement programs come and go. But one thing does not change. Most organizations do a mediocre job of improving. They go about it just like everyone else. A handful of organizations seem to do a much better job than the rest. What is the difference?

Gemba Walk Master Class Workshop

Gemba Walk Master Class workshop – one or two-day versions. Typically done in-house hosted by a sponsoring company. This is an opportunity for people to improve the effectiveness of their Gemba Walk protocols. It’s an experiential activity where people do one or more practice walks. If you look very closely at this photo, you will see something that is hidden. Great Gemba Walkers learn to see the invisible.

Coaching Gemba
Walkers

Coaching Gemba walkers – willing to do some limited on-site (or virtual) coaching of leaders to improve the way they do their walks.
